Return and Refunds
1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
As an EU-based consumer receiving goods delivered within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you — or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you — acquire physical possession of the goods (including collection from a pickup relay point or a neighbor).
For consumers outside the EU, or for orders delivered outside the EU, purchases cannot be cancelled or returned for a refund, except as otherwise required by the law of your country of residence.
2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

3. Effects of Withdrawal & Refund Conditions
Upon valid withdrawal, we will reimburse the price of the products. Please note the following conditions:
- Delivery costs are non-refundable. Only the standard delivery cost will be excluded from the refund; if you chose a premium or express delivery option, only the equivalent of our standard delivery rate is reimbursed.
- Payment gateway fees (e.g. PayPal commissions or similar third-party processing fees) are non-refundable and will be deducted from the reimbursement.
- Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods and verified their condition.
Return conditions: Goods must be returned within 14 days of communicating your withdrawal. Items must be:
- Unused and unopened
- In their original packaging and delivery box
- In perfect resalable condition
If goods are returned used, opened, or damaged beyond what is necessary to assess their nature and functioning, the refund may be partial or refused entirely. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from such handling.
The direct costs of return shipping — including carrier fees, insurance, and responsibility for any damage in transit — are borne by the customer.
4. Failed Delivery & Non-Pickup
If a parcel cannot be delivered because the customer was unavailable, provided an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failed to collect from a pickup point within the carrier’s deadline, the shipment may be returned to SBVTools.
4a. EU Customers — Returned Parcels
If the parcel is returned to our warehouse in unused, unopened, and resalable condition, we will issue a refund of the product price minus:
- The original outbound shipping cost
- The return shipping cost charged to SBVTools by the carrier
- Any handling fees incurred
No refund will be issued for goods that are returned damaged or in unsalable condition due to improper packaging by the customer or mishandling attributable to the customer’s failure to collect.
4b. Non-EU Customers — Returned or Abandoned Parcels
If a customer refuses to pay applicable import duties or taxes, or fails to collect the parcel from customs or a carrier pickup point:
- The parcel may be destroyed or abandoned by customs authorities. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
- If the parcel is successfully returned to SBVTools, a refund of the product price will be issued, minus all outbound shipping, return shipping, customs, and handling fees charged to SBVTools.
SBVTools is not responsible for import duties, taxes, or customs delays, and cannot predict or control the outcome of customs proceedings in the destination country.
4c. Reshipment
If a returned parcel was the result of a failed delivery and the customer wishes to receive the order again, a new shipping fee must be paid in full before the order is re-dispatched. SBVTools reserves the right to decline reshipment in cases of repeated delivery failures.
5. Responsibility for Delivery Failures
SBVTools fulfils its delivery obligation by handing the parcel to the contracted carrier. We are not liable for failed deliveries or returned parcels resulting from:
- Customer unavailability or absence
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided at checkout
- Refusal of delivery by the customer or recipient
- Failure to comply with import, customs, or tax requirements in the destination country
- Failure to collect from a carrier pickup point within the carrier’s stated deadline

Warranty
Return Policy
1. Right of Withdrawal
- As an EU-based consumer, and when goods have been delivered within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods, such as pick-up relay points or neighbors.
- For Non-EU based consumers and when goods are delivered outside the EU, the order cannot be cancelled or returned for a refund.
2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
3. Effects of Withdrawal
- If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you payments received from you, excluding the costs of delivery and payment commissions. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless otherwise agreed. Any refund commissions from third-party payment gateways such as PayPal are at the cost of the customer.
- We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back in perfect new condition, unopened, not used, and with the original delivery box. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

Warranty & Legal Guarantee
1. Legal Guarantee of Conformity (EU Consumers)
If you are an EU-based consumer, you benefit from a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under Directive (EU) 2019/771, as implemented by the national law of your country. Under this guarantee, SBVTools is liable for any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within two years of that date.
This legal guarantee applies independently of and in addition to any commercial warranty offered by SBVTools. It cannot be waived or limited by contract. In the event of a conflict between the commercial warranty terms below and your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.
2. Commercial Warranty — Hand Tools
SBVTools provides a lifetime warranty on all hand tools against defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the product’s life. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
Battery-operated hand tools are covered by a 2-year limited warranty instead of the lifetime warranty.
Under this commercial warranty, SBVTools will — at its sole discretion — repair or replace any hand tool found to be defective due to a manufacturing defect, free of charge, excluding shipping and any related logistics costs.
3. What Is Not Covered
The following are explicitly excluded from both the lifetime warranty and the 2-year limited warranty:
- Normal wear and tear
- Dropping, impact damage, scratches, or cosmetic damage
- Misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance
- Modifications, alterations, or repairs carried out by anyone other than SBVTools
- Accidental damage
- Rust on bits or any part of the hand tools
- Consumable parts, including but not limited to bits
- Sale items, sponsored items, and free gifts
- Nylon bags, pouches, or any included accessories
Products not manufactured by SBVTools are not covered by this warranty.
4. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim, the original purchaser must:

- Provide proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
- Return the defective item to SBVTools at the customer’s cost
Upon receipt and inspection, SBVTools will assess the claim and, if the defect is confirmed to fall within the scope of this warranty, will repair or replace the item at no additional charge. Shipping and handling costs associated with the return and reshipment of warranty items are borne by the customer.
SBVTools reserves the right to determine the applicability of this warranty on a case-by-case basis.
5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
This commercial warranty does not extend to any product that, in SBVTools’ reasonable judgment, has been improperly used, altered, abused, or repaired by a party other than SBVTools.
SBVTools makes no representations or warranties beyond those expressly stated in this document — whether express or implied — including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
SBVTools is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use any product, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Agents or representatives of SBVTools have no authority to make warranty representations beyond those contained herein.
Important for EU consumers: Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights under EU or national consumer protection law. The above limitations apply only to the extent permitted under applicable law in your jurisdiction.
6. Force Majeure
SBVTools shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation — including warranty service, shipping, or product replacement — arising from events beyond our reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, fires, floods, strikes or labour disputes, carrier disruptions, customs delays, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, or governmental restrictions.
In such circumstances, SBVTools will make reasonable efforts to fulfil its obligations as soon as practicable and will communicate any expected delays.

The cost of shipping your order is automatically calculated at the checkout after you select the country of destination. Our algorithm takes into account the total weight (actual and dimensional weight) of the products and the destination country.

VAT – European Union Countries
Please note that our prices are initially displayed according to the Belgian VAT 21%, as we are based in Belgium. However, the final price may vary based on your address at checkout:

All international (Extra EU) orders are not subject to Belgium VAT (21%), but they may be subject to local (destination country) applicable customs, import duties, brokerage fees, and taxes according to your country’s tax law.
In this case, all duties are the customer’s responsibility, and they will be collected at the time of delivery. The customer will have to pay them directly to the courier.
