I’m Julian and I bought your Tool Set for my F900 GS last year.
I just want to let you know that I’m absolutely impressed by this product, especially the built quality!
I lost the tool roll once on the street due to not closing my rear dry bag . But luckily another motorcyclist noticed it and warned me that I lost something.
Fortunately I found it laying on the side of the road. But the sleeve of the tool roll was already damaged, so I knew that probably a car ran over it.
I hadn’t much hope that my tools were still intact but when I opened it up I was completely blown away.
The only thing that was bent and damaged was the little tire pressure indicator.
The whole rest hadn’t even a single scratch!!
I don’t know if you guys test your products by running over them with cars, but I now can say that they don’t even get scratched by that…
So please keep on building so extremely sturdy products!

I absolutely love these tools. Even though I have all these tools in my tool box the way this kit fits together and the clever use of ‘special’ tools to make everything work together in such a neat package would mean I’d have to carry a tool kit at least 1/2 as big again. Quality is fantastic and the tools feel great in your hands, a joy to use. I used the kit to remove both wheels and service the brakes the other day, it probably took longer than normal as I was figuring out as I went along how to best use the tools in the kit. These are now my go to tools in the garage

I’ve used it two times so far and it is a great product. I wish it was more intuitive to use but the manual does the job. I like that you can rotate it and that the display items are changing rotation based on your needs. I wish it had some sort of haptical feedback when you hit your torque target, similar to a non-digital one but it is what it is. It’s lightweight and small, just what you need during your trip.

A Game-Changer for Multi-Bike Maintenance
As someone who maintains and rides a variety of trail & adventure bikes – currently; Honda CRF300L, Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid, and BMW R1200GS – having a toolkit that’s versatile, reliable, and genuinely built for the task is crucial. The SBVTool kit has impressed me from the start.
What stands out most is the build quality. Every tool feels solid in the hand, well-machined, and engineered with real-world use in mind. The compact roll-up design is deceptively spacious and carrying everything I need without taking up too much room in my luggage or is compact enough to be carried in a bum bag. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making it portable without sacrificing usability.
The inclusion of model-specific add-ons is a brilliant touch. I’ve used the kit across all three bikes, and it hasn’t let me down. Whether it’s trail-side adjustments on the CRF, mid-ride tweaks on the T7, or garage maintenance on the GS, the tools have performed without compromise.
Having used a fair few other toolkits over the years and usually building up my own bike specific kit to carry, I can confidently say SBVTools have struck the right balance between pro-level quality and trail-friendly portability. It’s now a permanent part of my setup, and one I’d recommend to any serious rider.

I don’t write reviews often, but I had to share this for my fellow riders. The SBVTools BMW tool set is a game changer, light, compact, and top-quality. At just 5.5″, it replaced my old 11″ tool set while offering 30% more functionality. It even fits perfectly in my Wunderlich toolbox, along with my small compressor and tire repair kit! The tool selection is spot on. I once had dust block my bike’s start switch, and thanks to the long T9 bit, I fixed it on the spot. many say T8, but it’s T9. SBVTools gets these details right, even including a T60 for the gear lever and an H12 for my R1300GS front axle. The MIT sockets are brilliant. I used the 6mm socket labeled E8 for my R1200GS gear lever, and it worked perfectly. This set is compact yet incredibly versatile. This torque adapter is a great addition to your tool roll kit! It comes in a sturdy storage box and I pack it with my tool roll when I head out on an adventure. The BMW Tool Kit is perfect for travel as well as my go-to kit when working on the bike in the garage. It’s come in handy for trailside repairs for both my BMW GSA 1250 as well as bikes my friends are traveling on. I live in Canada, and still ordered this torque adapter from SBVtools (the shipment originated in Belgium), because the product appeared superior to what I could find locally. The product arrived in less than 5 says, which is very fast.
The only issue is that contrary to the user manual, there is no vibration alert. I don’t know whether it’s because my unit is defective, or because the user manual is wrong (I suspect the latter, because I doubt a CR2032 battery could sustain vibration alert functionality for too long).

Lors de mon achat de kit pour ma BMW Gs, j’ai vu apparaitre dans les suggestions du site cet appareil qui permettait d’appliquer des serrages tout en respectant les couples préconisés. Bien que cela représentait un coup additionnel que je n’avais pas prévu, je me suis laissé tenter par le produit. Je dois dire que je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat, cet outil me permets d’être clairement plus précis dans les serrages effectués sur mn véhicule mais également dans les divers travaux du “quotidien”. Il est hyper facile à utilisé et son écran lumineux couplé à son avertisseur sonore qui se déclenche lorsque le couple est atteint en font un outil indispensable à tout bricoleur qui se respecte!

I’m very meticulous about my bike and everything has to be by-the-book. This adapter allows me to carry it in tool bag and apply right torque on road as well as in workshop. It came in nice protective case. It requires some learning curve but after a few minutes you are a pro. Memories for often used torques are a big plus. Another well made product by SBV tools.

I’ve purchased BMW SBV tool bag to make sure I have all required tools for some upgrades and addons I wanted to install on my R1200GSA. Package arrived next day from Belgium to Croatia. Wow. Tool bag came into a protective sleeve which is a great way to protect it on trips.
I’m impressed how complete and versatile this set is, quality of materials and craftsmanship are top notch and it doesn’t weight a ton. I did a complete makeover of my bike using only this tool set although I have a well equipped garage. Unrolling the bag became a small ritual to me.

Yep, it’s true. Sometimes, I unwrap the SBV tool bag to just marvel at the sheer quality and thoughtful design of these tools. I even carry it on group rides just to show it off. Talk about world-class quality! I opted for the larger Multi-Brand Pro Kit since the BMW kit wasn’t in stock at the time.
SBV’s attention to detail shines through in the toolkit’s design, with multifunctional tools like the four-size hex wheel nut tool and the patented coil & oil cap removal tool designed specifically for the BMW. They’ve devised a system of 1/4 bits, extensions, and wrenches that replace those bulky fixed-size Torx wrenches, making this toolkit streamlined, more functional and efficient.
I’ve checked out other toolkits claiming to be custom-made for my BMW, but they fell short, missing basic components like a coil remover or oil filler cap. Plus, their overall design left a lot to be desired. In contrast, the SBV toolkit is comprehensive yet compact.
I recommend checking out SBV’s videos to fully appreciate what this toolkit can do.

Bottom line up front, if any are hesitant about purchasing SBV Tools, don’t be. The quality, functionality, multiple application of these kits is amazing. I’ve been using a DIY kit I assembled mostly from a local Freight store and big box hardware suppliers and I became overly frustrated having to replace broken bits, pieces, and parts over the years when working on my bike. This problem is no longer. In my quest for the most versatile, reliable, and complete kit while keeping the size and weight down, I discovered SBV. I evaluated and compared SBV to Motohansa, Cruz Tools, Stockton, Bike Master, and Motion Pro. For the BMW R1250GS (or any BMW for that matter), SBV earned my vote by a wide margin! They do make kits for many other bikes with specific applications to fit your needs. The closest competitor I found in comparison is the Motohansa kit, but what stood out for me was the integration, expandability and overall function of the SBV kit, making it in my opinion, a better overall value. And with a lifetime warranty, I felt confident in my purchase. I opted to add the digital torque tool (#52295 for $99) as well which requires no proprietary ratchet and covers a range from 4Nm to 203Nm and comes in a nice, compact protective case. It even includes an adapter making it compatible with any 1/4” or 3/8” drive breaker bar or ratchet to use it. It seems to be very accurate with far more range of torque, better than my garage kept tool that has the clicker indicator and cannot handle the lower torque specs.
The SBV BMW kit (#52502) includes two pieces, again making it highly versatile depending on user’s desire, riding needs, and weight considerations. Although some references reflect the weight at well over 6 lbs., that’s not what I found. When placing both pieces, loaded as received, on the scales in their respective pouches, it was a mere 5.4 lbs. total. That saved me 2.5 lbs. less than my makeshift DIY kit. Additionally, the dimensions were equally impressive at 10.5 long and rolled down to 5 diameter (again, this included both pieces). SBV also included metal snaps to affix them if opting to carry them together with a robust 1.5 wide Velcro strap to cinch it tight. There is some space within should you want to add other items.
SBV recently partnered with BeemerShop, Inc. in Scotts Valley, CA as the first U.S. distributor. This family-owned business is also another with whom I’ll be doing future business; highly responsive, great customer service! Thank you, Ted Porter.

What a fantastically useful product. Easy to use and perfect for bikers given how much easier it is to store than a conventional torque wrench.
